Qatar Airways resumed daily non-stop service between Hamad International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport on 1 August 2026, restoring the route as the airline's 14th North American destination after it had previously been suspended. The route is operated on the Airbus A350-900, featuring the airline's Qsuite business class and Starlink in-flight Wi-Fi.

The relaunch is part of a broader expansion that's pushed Qatar Airways' network past 160 destinations from Doha as of mid-2026, alongside existing North American gateways including New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal.

For travellers on the US East Coast, this adds another direct option into Doha alongside New York and Boston — see our Philadelphia to Doha route guide for flight time and planning tips.
